At McClary Ford, serving Florence, you'll find an impressive selection of Explorer models ready to meet your needs.
Trims to Match Your Style
The Explorer lineup offers five distinct trim levels: Active, ST-Line, ST, Platinum, and Tremor. The Active trim provides an excellent entry point with heated cloth captain's chairs, lane centering, and an intuitive infotainment system. For those who crave a sportier aesthetic, the ST-Line adds 20-inch ebony-painted machined aluminum wheels, fog lamps, and a heated leather steering wheel with distinctive red stitching.
Performance enthusiasts gravitate toward the ST trim, which pairs the 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission featuring paddle shifters for an engaging driving experience. The Platinum trim elevates luxury with ActiveX-trimmed captain's chairs featuring heating, ventilation, and multicontour seats with Active Motion. Drivers from Decatur who enjoy weekend adventures should consider the Tremor trim, which comes standard with all-terrain tires, a mechanical limited-slip differential, and Miko suede captain's chairs with the Tremor logo.
Performance That Keeps Up with Your Life
Under the hood, the Explorer offers two EcoBoost engine options to suit your driving preferences. The 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder produces 300 horsepower and pairs with a smooth 10-speed automatic transmission. Step up to the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6, and you'll command 385 horsepower for confident passing power and towing capability. Both rear-wheel drive and full-time four-wheel drive configurations ensure you can tackle varying road conditions throughout the year.
Cargo Space and Features Families Will Love
With up to 85.8 cubic feet of cargo space behind the first row, the Explorer swallows everything from sports equipment to luggage for extended road trips. The Explorer offers six-passenger seating with available captain's chairs in the second row, providing comfortable accommodations for the whole family, while the third row folds flat to maximize cargo flexibility. The PowerFold third-row seats on select trims make reconfiguring your interior as simple as pressing a button.
Rear climate controls let backseat passengers customize their comfort, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility keeps everyone entertained. The available heated second-row seats ensure your passengers stay warm during cooler months, while the remote start system lets you pre-condition the cabin before you even step outside.
